Accreditation in Your Field

Be aware that not all courses offer accreditation that is recognized by universities or places of work. It is up to YOU to research and find out which courses you will need in order to transfer credits to other universities or be hired in your chosen field. Please speak to the Guidance Department if you need help in this area.

Course Requirements

Each university and college and each department usually have their own set of requirements for individual programs. For example, some programs will accept a student with grade 12 college math while others require it at the university level. It is up to you to check individual requirements for each institution under consideration. This information can usually be located by going to a university or college's website, clicking on the department that interests you and looking under Admission Requirements (or a similar name).
