We have Smartboards! They are located in the computer lab and one of the classrooms.
So here are some resources that you can start checking out:
1. Download SmartNotebook to your own computers
The SmartBoard program - SmartNotebook - is free to download to your home computer or laptop. You can write programs and home and then either connect your laptop to the board or save your program to USB key and use it on the computers at school.
Please speak to Mrs. Train or Dr. Burt about product keys.
2. Resources from the Manufacturer
One quick source of training is the tutorial that comes with SmartNotebook when you download it. It is available under Help, on the top toolbar.

3. SMART Exchange - Free Resources from Teachers
Consider joining the SMART Exchange, a free resource center and educational network of teachers who are using SMARTboards. The site offers discussion boards and sharing of ideas and lessons to use with SMART products which can be filtered by Subject and Grade.
4. Lesson Plan Websites
Note: These sites have not been checked for compatibility with Smartboards. (There are other systems on the market). Please let me know if any of these should be taken off the list because they don't work with our equipment or are geared to Elementary level classes. Also, please feel free to add (or email Mrs. Train) with other resources.
