This website takes you through steps to identify specific problems and offers a variety of possible solutions, taking into account a factors that may affect a student’s performance, such as learning difficulties, outside pressures and not understanding what is expected of them.  If you have a student who seems to lack motivation, doesn’t take responsibility for her actions, has difficulty with group dynamics or other problems, take a look at this site for ideas.
