Google has a number of remarkable tools in its repertoire, including Google Drive, a free space that lets you create and store documents and much more. Here are the activities that you can do:

  • there are word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tools
  • collaborate, publish and share documents
  • create mindmaps - even in collaboration
  • research using integrated Google search tools
  • create forms for student quizzes that return organized answers

Some of the benefits of using Google Drive with your students:

  • it is free and you don't even need a gmail address
  • encourages collaboration by asking students to edit the same document. You can view the history of changes, which lets you see what each student has contributed
  • there is an offline version so you don't even have to be connected
  • there are Android and IOS apps for your smartphones
  • it is compatible with Microsoft Office products

Here's an excellent link to get you exploring Google Docs and Drive:
